Site removal
Hey, guys, just a heads’ up. This site will be going down in 7 days as I do not have the money to pay for the server this year. The total cost is 83.40, and with my husband’s last week of work being this week, we simply cannot afford it any longer. I’m really sorry to tell you this, in light of it being my last real place in which I can talk to you all. But it is what it is.
If anyone wishes to donate to the cost of the server, though, it’d be greatly appreciated. I love having this site, and I’d love even more to save it. Please let me know if you can help or send a donation through PayPal. I have till the 14th to pay the server cost. Thanks, guys, and if that doesn’t work out, then I hope to be back soon–as soon as my husband’s got a new job and everything is settled again!

I’m just concerned, really. I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but the Media Miner site seems to be falling into ruin. Little by little, the code is breaking, and I am really sure that it’s just a matter of time before it ends up too broken to even load stories. That’s the reason I’d like to keep this site, but again, it is what it is. 🙂 I keep telling myself that there are other things that are more important that I should be worrying about, but I do love writing, and I do love sharing the stories with everyone. I will be able to get back to it soon, I hope, but again, I’m just worried that Media Miner’s going to break entirely, and then I’m not sure what I’ll do if this site is gone, too.

Check your donations. And, I understand about mediaminer. I keep an account there to read amazing stories like yours, as well as to keep my Inuyasha stories (crap that they are) posted there. They’ve been taken down in FFN, either for editing, or because I just looked at them one day and went “omg, I wrote that?” *facepalm* Lol.
Kind of an aside here, I’m making a blurb about your Purity Series on my blog/site. I love it so much that I want to send others there. It’s still being drafted, but you’ll be able to find it soon at http://thefeelsdestroyer.worpress.com

I say talk to your Head Beta (kind of like a Head General, right^_~) see what they think about the idea. Maybe life will inspire you to write something for it. 🙂

I only have one lonely beta these days, sadly. My trouble is, I’m not that great with short stories (well, duh! lol) But it does say that it can be published online, and I was actually considering sending them Enervate because I happen to think it’s one of my better pieces lol
